How to choose dye for the ribbon loom?

At present, various kinds of ribbon looms can be manufactured in my country, which are at the leading international level and can replace large-scale equipment. Our company is a professional ribbon loom manufacturer with excellent technology and reliable products. Welcome to discuss.

The ribbon produced by the ribbon machine still needs to undergo the next process, which is dying. There are many kinds of dyes that can be used when dyeing webbing. Which one is more suitable for you? Let’s take a look below.

  1. Acid dyes are mostly suitable for protein fibers, nylon fibers, and mulberry silk. It is characterized by bright colors, but weak water-cleaning properties and excellent dry-cleaning properties. It is widely used in natural dyeing.
  2. Positive ion dye (alkaline natural material), suitable for acrylic, polyester, acrylic, chemical fiber, and protein fiber. Its advantage is that it has bright colors and is very suitable for synthetic fibers, but it has poor water cleaning and light resistance when used for natural fibers and protein textiles.
  3. Direct dyes are suitable for cellulose fiber textiles. The color fastness to water cleaning is relatively poor and the brightness resistance varies. However, the water-cleaning saturation of direct dyes through modified materials will be effectively improved.
  4. Disperse dyes are suitable for viscose, acrylic, acrylic, polyester, etc. The color fastness to water cleaning varies, polyester is good, but viscose is weak.

These types of dyes are very common for ribbons. Ribbon looms can only produce a single ribbon color. Only dyed ribbons can be bright and beautiful and can be used for a variety of different purposes.
