The development history and maintenance methods of ribbon looms

The development history of the ribbon loom:

Definition of ribbon loom: A machine that can weave ribbons of various widths is a ribbon loom. According to the actual weaving method, it can be divided into two categories: shuttle ribbon machine and braiding ribbon machine.

Classification of ribbon looms: According to the actual weaving method, they can be divided into shuttle looms and braided ribbon machines. Shuttle looms are divided into two categories: shuttleless looms and shuttle looms.

Shuttleless loom: It is a commonly used type of loom that can produce various stretch and non-stretch ribbons. Generally divided into two types: computer jacquard loom and fast shuttleless loom.

Shuttle loom: Compared with shuttleless loom, its uses are relatively less. But we can also produce all kinds of webbing.

Ribbon loom maintenance inspection content:

  1. Check whether the lubricating oil in the main chassis is within the required range. Take out the oil probe and lower it to ensure that the remaining oil is between the two lines, but not too much to prevent the lubricating oil from spraying out.
  2. Check the lubricating oil of the stepless speed-regulating motor, which can be estimated by the oil mirror. If the lubricating oil is less than half of the oil mirror, the lubricating oil must be replenished.
  3. All gear shaft parts of the equipment should be properly lubricated and maintained once a week.
  4. The polished rod part of the polished rod cable arrangement should be properly lubricated and maintained once a week.
  5. Make sure there are no obstacles within the posture range of the equipment and check anytime and anywhere.
  6. Tighten the screws in the transmission part and connection parts of the equipment to prevent loosening from affecting the operation of the equipment, and inspect it once a week.
  7. Before the actual operation of the equipment, it should be run at low speed for about 5 minutes and then increase the speed.

Protection measures for ribbon looms:

  1. Use safety inspections to check whether the key process components and tightening joints of each piece of equipment are loose, and tighten loose parts in time.
  2. Purchase standard tightening joints from designated factories in my country and build a safety inspection system with inspection as the core.
  3. Unify the tightening procedures of standard parts to minimize under-tightening or over-tightening, which may cause potential failures or reduce the service life of tightened parts.
