The high-speed shuttleless loom is mainly composed of five major mechanisms: opening mechanism, weft feeding mechanism, edge locking mechanism, beating mechanism, and take-up mechanism.
1、Mouth opening mechanism
To interweave warp and weft yarns into a fabric on a loom, the warp yarns must first be divided into front and rear layers to form a shed, and then the weft yarns are introduced. Therefore, the warp yarns need to be inserted into the heddle eyes according to certain rules. When the heads move up and down along with the head frame, the warp yarns will separate left and right along with the adjustment of the head frame, creating an opening for the weft yarn to penetrate. According to the structural needs of the fabric, a multi-heald frame design can be adopted (two heald frames for plain weave fabrics).
2、Weft feeding mechanism
The weft-feeding needle is used to introduce the weft yarn into the shed so that the weft yarn and warp yarn are interwoven into a fiberglass belt. The weft-feeding mechanism of the high-speed shuttleless loom has three characteristics:
- The weft feeding speed is faster;
- The amount of weft yarn rolled up is large, the time taken to change the weft yarn is small, and the operation rate of the ribbon machine is high;
- Weft delivery is double weft/time. Make sure the knitting is going on properly.
3、Edge locking mechanism
The fabric structure that uses the weft needle to feed the weft to create a double weft needs to be hemmed. There are two main methods of hemming:
- Use the serger needle to hook the weft yarn, not the serger thread. If there are fewer weft threads in this organizational structure, the weft threads will be loose and prone to loose ribbons.
- Use the overlock thread to lock the edge, usually weft the overlock. Use a hook needle to hook the overlock thread to generate an electromagnetic coil and lock the weft yarn. The basic action is that the hook needle first hooks the overlock thread, and then moves repeatedly to generate an electromagnetic coil and then hook the thread. Then remove the loop to create a continuous frame line and lock the warp.
4、Beating-up mechanism.
The weft yarn introduced into the shed is guided to the cloth fell and interlaced with the warp yarn with the help of the beat-up mechanism to form a textile fabric. The width of the fabric and the density of the warp yarns are determined by the steel foil in the beat-up mechanism. The arrangement of the weft yarns and the buckling state of the warp and weft yarns in the fabric are accompanied by the different supporting forces and deformation levels of the warp and weft yarns during beat-up. 5、Reeling mechanism.
The take-up mechanism is a device that promotes the warp displacement and pulls the woven strap away from the cloth mouth.
